Mim Davis An award–winning independent producer, Mim produced the stand-out ABC documentary Sisters in Calcutta (2006) and followed this success with the AFC-funded short Skin (2007). She has worked at AFTRS, Fish n Clips and Jungle Boys and earlier this year joined the Film Finance Corp. Documentary Investment division. Mim now works with Screen Australia’s Investment team.
Luke Eve’s films, including 2005 Tropfest winner Australian Summer, have screened at film festivals around the world and won many awards. After graduating from AFTRS, he spend several months in New York on an AFC-sponsored internship at Academy Award winning independent film production company That Is That, working in script development. He is a highly sought-after commercials and music video director.
Arky Michael is one Australia’s favourite actors, Arky has worked extensively on stage and screen, in comedy and drama, since graduating from NIDA in 1982. His television credits include Rafferty’s Rules, Grass Roots, Mother and Son, Water Rats and Wildside and he has appeared regularly in productions for Bell Shakespeare, Company B Belvoir and the Sydney Theatre Company.
Michael Phelan A 2005 AFTRS Scriptwriting graduate, Michaels’ work has screened at a number of prestigious film festivals here and abroad. He has worked in the script department at Southern Star on the critically-acclaimed drama Love My way, written a comedy pilot for Jigsaw and most recently, helped script edit and write the gritty crime drama Spike Up, winner of Best Short Film at the 2007 AFI Awards.
