The slightly less-than fab 4 have to overcome their relentless self-involvement to make their friendship and business work; and to generally make the lives of everyone around them miserable.
IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA takes some of the best sitcom elements from by combining the social-degenerate-buddy formula (three men, one woman) with the dysfunctional-family element, and adds brilliant snappy dialogue, to create scenarios that are hysterical, appalling, embarrassing, uncomfortable, yet familiar - and addictively entertaining.
