About the program
Part of THE COMEDY CHANNEL’s dynamic [adult swim] programming is a new stop-motion series from Seth Green and his ROBOT CHICKEN collaborators Matthew Senreich and Tom Root.
A parody of Mecha animations such as Voltron with an added dash of Thunderbirds and Team America: World Police, TITAN MAXIMUM is set one hundred years in the future when Saturn's moon Titan is defended by Titan Force Five, an elite squadron of young, brash pilots whose spaceships combine to form the giant robot TITAN MAXIMUM. As the series opens, the team has been disbanded due to budget cuts, but must hastily reassemble when a former team member turns criminal and tries to conquer the solar system with an assault of giant monsters. Now, the fate of humanity rests in the hands of a team of dysfunctional misfits commanding a rust bucket robot.
TITAN MAXIMUM is created by Robot Chicken co-creator Matthew Senreich and ROBOT CHICKEN producer/co-head writer/director Tom Root, with Seth Green executive producing along with Senreich and Green, and providing the voice for the show's villain. Other voices are provided by actors Breckin Meyer, Rachael Leigh Cook, Dan Milano and Eden Espinosa and guest stars Donald Faison (Scrubs) and Adrianne Palicki (Friday Night Lights).
