Our weekly animation revolution is getting even better from July 21!

Starting at 8.30pm with the SUBSCRIPTION TV PREMIERE of SOUTH PARK Series 13 - Roll with the SOUTH PARK boys as they save the economy, the whales, and a bunch of dead celebrities all while discovering the joys of Fish Sticks. Then at 9pm the AUSTRALIAN PREMIERE of THE GOODE FAMILY the new series from Mike Judge, creator of KING OF THE HILL and BEAVIS AND BUTTHEAD. THE GOODE FAMILY is about the paradoxes that arise for a working-class family when trying to be politically correct, all of the time, about everything.

At 9.30pm it’s all kids are out of the pool as the anarchic madness that is [adult swim] takes over the airwaves. Starting at 9.30pm with the AUSTRALIAN PREMIERE of ROBOT CHICKEN: STAR WARS II. In this sequel to ROBOT CHICKEN: STAR WARS (airing on THE COMEDY CHANNEL on July 14 at 9pm). Then Wednesdays at 9.30pm from July 28 it’s Emmy-nominated stop-motion sketch comedy as ROBOT CHICKEN SERIES 4 makes its AUSTRALIAN PREMIERE on THE COMEDY CHANNEL.

But there’s more! The AUSTRALIAN TV PREMIERE of FRISKY DINGO threatens the planet from July 21 - Wednesdays at 10pm. Destroying the world seems like a lot of fun, but super villain Killface finds that it can be a tedious and complicated process. Then at 10.15pm it’s time for the court room insanity of HARVEY BIRDMAN, ATTORNEY AT LAW. Join us each Wednesday for the wildest animation on TV!

Thursdays at 9pm

Following the internationally acclaimed hit series WE CAN BE HEROES about the search for Australian on the Year, the award-winning high-school mockumentary SUMMER HEIGHTS HIGH spotlights the incisive observation and piercing comedy of Chris Lilley, who both wrote the series and portrays all three main characters. Filmed in a documentary style, with non-actors playing supporting characters Chris Lilley reveals what really happens in an average Australian high school as epitomised by its three main protagonists:

Mr G - “Two words, deal with it” - The Megalomaniac "Director of Performing Arts" Mr G who, despite relentless opposition, cancels the traditional school musical so that he can write his own original "Arena Spectacular". Ja'mie King - “I don’t want to be a bitch, but…” - A self-absorbed, privileged teenager who is taking part in a swap scheme to bridge the divide between state and private schools, but finds she is way out of her comfort zone. Jonah Takalua - “Puck you Miss” - A contemptuous Tongan break-dancer and graffitist who was previously expelled for setting fire to lockers and defacing the principal's car.

Hilarious, absurd and frequently shocking, SUMMER HEIGHTS HIGH reveals a world where the seemingly huge traumas of friendship, staff politics, schoolwork and relationships are the fabric of life in the school universe.

Porridge & Open All Hours join The Best Of British

Ronnie Barker is one of the best-loved and most celebrated entertainers in British television history. As well as starring in the ever popular and critically acclaimed sitcoms Porridge and "Open All Hours" Barker was also the recipient of a lifetime achievement award from the British Academy of film and Television Arts. With remarkable versatility for over 30 years as a performer as well as a leading comic writer, Barker made comedy look effortlessly funny and created some of the most memorable characters seen on television.

Joining THE BEST OF BRITISH block (starting at 7.30pm) this month are two unforgettable Ronnie Barker comedies – OPEN ALL HOURS (Sundays at 8.30pm) and PORRIDGE (Sundays at 9pm) which were voted by BBC viewers as 2 of the Top 10 British Comedies of all time.

In the sitcom OPEN ALL HOURS, Arkwright (Ronnie Barker), a stuttering, stingy shopkeeper, is constantly scheming to get money out of his gullible customers. He teaches his nephew, Granville (David Jason), the exciting world of corner shops while pining for his object of affection, nurse Gladys Emmanuel (Lynda Baron).

A BBC classic, 'PORRIDGE' is slang for a jail sentence, and habitual offender Norman Stanley Fletcher (Ronnie Barker) is doing five years of it. With the trademark cynicism and bare-faced cheek that has made this television series a legend Fletcher whiles away the time sharing his wealth of experience with this fellow inmates, particularly naive, young first-timer Lennie whom Fletch takes under his fatherly wing.
