Tom Saxondale has been through the rock and roll mill (as a middle-aged Roadie) and lived to tell the tale. He plays fast and loose, shoots from the hip and tells no lies… he’s a true maverick.

However, for the past ten years Tom has been at the cutting edge of the pest control industry… in Hertfordshire. His assistant, Raymond, is Tonto to Tom’s Lone Ranger, but with his wise words and life philosophy, he is closer to being a kind of shaman.

After a hostile divorce, Tom has found his soulmate in Magz, proprietress of anarchic T-shirt shop, Smash The System.
